Our membership year runs from the 1st of September until the 31st of August of the following year. New membership registrations open in July / early August each year.

| 13-15 | Cadet Membership Under 15 years - For members between the ages of 13 and 15 who have obtained the Surf Rescue Certificate and fulfil club obligations. Full membership rights and access to club facilities, including gym membership. An access tag is provided, and all training and endorsed carnival entry fees are included. - Includes Bronze Medallion Course, First Aid Certificate, Advanced Resuscitation Course, patrol uniform and club access tag. The First Aid Certificate is valid for three years.
- Proficient of recently proficient (within five years) member transferring from another SLSC.
