- Can I get a refund if I cannot attend?
There is much work involved in planning an event like this, so refunds will only be offered if the event does not go ahead. If you cannot find someone to take your seats please contact email@example.com and we can put you in contact with people who missed out on tickets.
- Do I need to be a Club member?
No, you do not need to be a member of the Club nor do your guests. The new surf club is a community building, so we welcome the community to this event.
- How do I buy tickets?
Click on the Reserve Your Table Now link on this page and you will be directed to an email. Fill out your name and details including whether you’d like a Table of 6 or 12 and a table will be reserved for you subject to availability. From here you will be contacted with details of how to pay.
- I am a vegetarian can I get a special meal?
Yes, we will look after those with particular dietary requirements.
- I am unable to attend, how else can I contribute to fundraising?
We will be running many other fundraising initiatives including a Silent Auction during The Prom Night. You don't have to attend to bid on an item. A catalogue of Silent auction items will be made available in the coming weeks.
In addition to this we are planning a 'Buy a Brick' campaign, that will be displayed in our new building. Further details will be available on this page in the weeks to come.

- I can’t get to the Dinner until 7pm - is the ticket price less?
There is no discount for late arrivals as we will have confirmed numbers with our catering company and we cannot manage food for those who arrive late. Canapes will be offered by wait staff from 6pm. To avoid missing out on eating the delicious canapes make sure you are there at 6pm. Drinks will also be offered from 6pm..
- I only want a table of 4 - can I buy 4 tickets?
If you are not able to fill a table of 6, we can match you up with other smaller groups however we cannot guarantee who these tables will be paired up with nor where they will be placed along the promenade. If you book a table of 6 your table will be placed with another group of 6 people to make up a Table of 12.
- What do I have to wear?
As this is a once-off special event we think the dress code should reflect the format. This is why we have selected Cocktail Dress as the code. We think Ladies will wear a special dress or pants and for Men we think pants and a shirt are suitable. Jacket and tie are optional.
- What does my $250 ticket get me?
Substantial Canapes and Pre-Dinner drinks, including French Champagne, at the southern end of the Promenade overlooking the Bronte Pool.
At 7.15pm we will move to our allocated tables and Dinner will be served at approximately 7.45pm. A selection of wines & beverages will be offered during Dinner. Due to Council and Licensing Police requirements, at 9.30pm we will move off the Promenade to the Club where there will a variety of entertainment on offer until midnight. Dessert will be available in the Club and drinks can be purchased at the bar.
- What happens if it rains?
This event is an All Weather Event. Unfortunately, weather is something we cannot control but we do have a Wet Weather contingency. If heavy rain is predicted, we will simply alter the format from sit down to a stand up event in a beachside Marquee. The after party events will still take place as originally planned.
- What is the fundraiser for?
Bronte Surf Life Saving Club & Waverley Council are building a new Surf Club, kiosk, council and public amenities within the next 12-18 months. Our current building was built in the early 70’s before Women and Nippers were part of the Club. We are looking to raise $1million to contribute to the build, fit out and the running of the Club during the renovation. We are planning a modern but functional Club house for the future.
