Junior of the Year: Will Johnstone

After a hiatus of a few years, Will returned to the Club this season to complete his Bronze Medallion. Since completing his Bronze in November, Will has assisted with training new Bronzies, volunteered with B2B and other Club activities and completed 32 patrol hours. He wasn’t far away in February when James’ call out for the after-hours mass rescue came through, and he made it down to the beach in time to make a significant contribution to the rescue efforts. Will’s good-natured enthusiasm, willingness to engage with all the members of his patrol and the wider Club and eagerness to be involved are the new benchmark for our youth members. We are all delighted he’s returned to the Club!
