Fee structure for membership of Bronte SLSC is as follows. Yearly Membership is seasonal ie from May 11 to April 12. An annual Renewal Form must be completed by all members to validate membership. This is important for member protection.

New Members |
There are three easy steps to apply for new membership with Bronte Surf Life Saving Club. |

Membership Categories
Probationary |
During the time between applying for membership and the granting of a formal category membership by the Club, and gaining an award (eg Bronze Medallion) if applicable. |
Nipper |
Children aged between 5 and 13 years who have gained the relevant Junior Activity Achievement Certificate for their age group. NB: Nippers must have turned 5 years old by 30th September 2011. |
Cadet Membership (Under 15) |
Under 15 years - For members between the ages of 13 and 15 who have obtained the Surf Rescue Certificate in that season or passed an Annual Proficiency test. |
Junior (Under 17 & Under 19) |
Under 17 years - For members between the ages of 15 and 17 who have obtained the Surf Rescue Certificate or Bronze in that season or passed an Annual Proficiency test. |
Under 19 years |
For members between 17 and 18 years of age who have obtained the Bronze Medallion in that season or passed an Annual Proficiency test. |
Nipper Parent |
Enables parents to be involved re assisting age groups and being on beach. This is so you are covered by insurance. Entitles parents to use Club on Sundays, but they are not eligible for membership privileges such as swipe tag, gym or reduced hall hire costs. |
Active Parent |
Available to all nipper parents who have their Bronze and wish to be an active member and do patrols as well as help out with nippers. Full membership rights to the Club apply. |
Active Senior |
A Bronze medallion holder who fulfils full patrol and club obligations, and qualifies in an annual proficiency test, unless the member has obtained the Bronze in that season. |
Reserve Active |
For members who have satisfactorily completed 10 years of patrols and service with Bronte SLSC or any other club affiliated with Surf Life Saving Australia. |
Long Service |
For members who have performed ten years Active Service and at least two years Reserve Active Service. Exempt from patrol obligations. |
Associate |
Members must be at least 35 years of age and may or may not have an Association award. (No voting rights). |
Life Membership |
Granted for distinguished service to Bronte Surf Life Saving Club. |
Honorary |
Elected for a period of one year at the discretion of the Management Committee, primarily in recognition of exceptional service to Bronte. Entitled to full use of club facilities. |
