Nipper Age Groups

From U6 until they graduate, we are so proud to watch our Nippers grow confident in the ocean, develop leadership skills, value the importance of providing community service and form strong and respectful friendships with one another.

Each age group has its own set of individual lessons that cover a range of skills.  The program builds each year towards the Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) which is undertaken in U14. For this reason, we do not accept new nippers at U14 unless exceptional circumstances apply.

SRC holders are qualified Australian Surf Lifesavers and join volunteer patrol teams at Bronte as ‘Cadets’.

All age groups:

• Wear: Nipper age group cap (compulsory), pink high vis rashie or vest (compulsory), swimmers, goggles, wetsuit (optional)
• Communication: we use TeamApp to communicate.  Please download it for free, search for ‘Bronte Nippers’ and request to join your relevant group/s.
