Nipper Proficiency
All Proficiencies will be held at Bronte Ocean Pool.

Every Nipper from U8 – U14 is required to participate in a preliminary water skills evaluation conducted by the Club to be able to participate in Nipper activities on a Sunday.
Junior Participation Skill Evaluation requirements are as follows:
| Under 8 | 25 metre swim (any stroke) plus 1 minute survival float |
| Under 9 | 200 metre pool swim within 6 minutes |
| Under 10 | 200 metre pool swim within 6 minutes |
| Under 11 | 200 metre pool swim within 5 minutes |
| Under 12 | 200 metre pool swim within 5 minutes |
| Under 13 | 200 metre pool swim within 5 minutes |
| Under 14 | 200 metre pool swim within 5 minutes |
For those children who cannot attend the swims, and who are in groups 'under 11' and above, and were Nippers last year, you can obtain a swim certificate which must be strictly adhered to in the forms set out in the attachment. It is your responsibility to complete the application form and attach it to the registration form.
There is to be no variation to the swim certificate and it will not be accepted in any other form ie. The swim coach does not have an accreditation number.
