JOINING BRONTE NIPPERS
You still have time to register for nippers for the coming season. Register in person on 16 October between 8.00am and 10.00 am or follow the instructions below to register online and save yourself much of the hassle.
To join Bronte SLSC Nippers, children must be 5 years old as at 30 September 2011.

| Nipper Renewals |
Parents of nippers registered in 2010/2011 season will be sent an email asking them to register their children online. Provided your email has not changed from last season you should receive it. You will then come to the proficiency days and complete your swim and purchase any merchandise you need. If you choose not to register online you can complete the attached registration form and bring to any of the registration days at the same time as you do your proficiency swim. |
New Nippers |
All new nippers need to complete either an online registration or a registration form, show proof of age (birth certificate or passport). Under 8s and above must complete a proficiency swim. Merchandise can also be purchased at the registration days. If you choose not to go online, please download the attached form. |

| When can I do my Proficiency Swims? |
U8s to U10s – proficiency swim must be done at Bronte Pool at either registration day U11s and above – proficiency swim can be done at Bronte Pool on a registration day or a signed swimming certificate can be supplied. Swim certifications will take place at Bronte pool during registration times. If you are under 11 and up and currently in a swim squad (not lesson) you can obtain certification from your coach. A pool Swim certificate can be downloaded from our website and submitted with your registration form. The certificate must be in the form downloaded from our website. Download here |

| How can I help ? | The nipper programme at Bronte is successful due to the large number of parents and club members who continue to assist us and devote time and energy into making our nippers future lifesavers. Nippers does not work without parent volunteers. There are many ways in which you can help and we encourage all parents to chose something that suits them. Nipper Parent – parent helper (BBQ, merchandise, beach activities) with restricted club access Active Parent – active patrol member – bronze medallion certified – full club membership rights Associate Member – over 35 – not an active member but full club membership rights All parents are encouraged to be age managers, water safety and hence to complete their bronze medallion. Nipper parents are unable to assist in the water unless they have completed their bronze medallion. |
