Club News & Thankyou's

Our Condolences

Sadly, Rhonda Leitch passed away Monday after a brave battle with cancer.   Our sympathies are with Bob and his family.  The service will be held next Tuesday, 11am at the Church of Mary Emmalculate, 45A Victoria Street, Waverley.

Kate Byrne - Thank you and Farewell

Kate joined Bronte fresh faced and eager fresh off the plane from Perth, obviously a woman with a discerning eye she settled on Bronte to continue her Surf life saving career that had commenced in WA.

During her ten plus years at Bronte Kate has been a VC a PC an IRB Driver, Instructor and also IRB Captain – by any standards she has put a lot of time and effort into supporting lifesaving at Bronte Beach.

It has taken Kate ten years or so to realise that at Bronte most of the sharks are the old gummy ones in the bar on Sunday nights– not the whitepointers in her native WA ocean. Kate is headed back to her roots and her extended family in WA, we wish her well and there is always a seaqt in the tent, he IRB or at the bar”

Run results: Sorry, will be back next week.

Important Dates
16th March Senior Club Championships all welcome.
