HUG AN IRB MEMBER TODAY

On behalf of the club I’d personally like to extend a massive thanks to the amazing IRB team for last weekends efforts. Not only did the combined IRB team cover two long days of Patrols, some doing double shifts like Sam Stone who also conducted IRB Crew training, they also provided WS support for the Bondi Swim and two full days of SLS Carnivals @ Maroubra.

IRB Team members: Sam Stone, Michael Bremner, Richard Ng, Paul Johnson, Ben Little, David Stone, Steve Laffey, John Asquith, Anne De Groot, Craig Freier, Daniel DH.

Thank you Emma and Jochen for all the phone around organising, calling in favours and the like for the non Bronte Beach resourcing.

All went above and beyond to fulfil our LSA (Lifesaving Services Agreement), assistance to the Bondi Swim and Branch Carnivals which means we can continue to operate legally as a Club, run the B2B with other clubs reciprocal support and compete in SLS events.

Hug an IRB member when you see them next !

James
Club Captain
